Nostalgic for me: Clash of Krits

Did you ever play in a game as yourself? I mean, somehow you just end up in whatever TTRPG world and you're just yourself to start with. My best friend and I did this several times with different gaming systems. That's why I find Clash of Krits so nostalgic!

Clash of Krits is a DnD 5e actual play. The characters started out getting on a cruise ship in Miami sailing to Bermuda. There is "Don" Lewis, a former basketball player turned dentist, Carmine Rosalino, A.K.A. Rosie the Butcher, a Brooklyn butcher with some shady dealings(including counterfeit beanie babies), and Cleatus Montgomery Claybourne, a former country music artist making a comeback.

The story gets kind of interesting when you find out that Don and Rosie's wife and Cleatus' daughter know each other from a book club. All the characters meet at a special book club dinner and then a storm happens, sending the heroes overboard. They wake up on a beach surrounded by "Dragon People" who are intent on taking their loved ones away. Don wishes to be able to fight against them and the three defeat some adversaries, only to be knocked out and jailed with their loved ones no where in sight.

The story follows Cleatus, a warlock/bard, Rosie, an eldritch knight, and Don, a Paladentist, as they try to recover their loved ones. The voices of the characters as well as the DM are amazing. They also have an awesome theme song and brilliant sound effects.

If your looking for an awesome, exciting, and funny actual play, look no further than Clash of Krits. You can find them on Twitter @clash_of_krits, or check them out at https://linktr.ee/clashofkrits?utm_source=linktree_profile_share&ltsid=f97529f0-af84-43c4-9ea2-b7ad500f78bd
